As a former student and knowing the school very well sometimes you hear really negative stories that happen at school but I heard a fantastic example of a good one this week. An amazing display of teaching that has really helped my nephew out and I think it deserves mentioning and rewarding as an outstanding bit of mentoring.

Mrs Crowther noticed a situation in which my nephew was subject to a group of pupils harassing my nephew about something he wasn’t involved in and made him feel to the the point he was that upset, crying significantly and refusing to go to school the next day. He struggles slightly socially due to his learning differentiations and hasn’t got a harmless bone in his body or word to say bad about anyone.

Mrs Crowther, liaised with my his mum/my sister (sometimes out of school hours) and addressed the situation professionally but with significant empathy
and understanding and got a solution resolved very quickly with verbal and written apologies to my nephew and his parents for making him feel how they did.

I think it was a credible act of teaching and one I that has made me feel a lot better about my nephew and his time at school in the future. Well done Mrs Crowther. Credit to the school. I hope this gets highlighted

Kind regards,

Connor

i’m sorry to hear that your grandma passed away I actually am like obviously i’m gonna be upset about that innit yeah but hadiqah you know the only thing is no one can force me to be your mate or anything yeah and I don’t wanna be mates with you orite
Came once on a careers fair, the headteacher ( I think it was someone called Bev) let me stay and participate even though one of the rude staff members wanted me booted out! I think the place has gone down hill but you never know they might pull through.
This is still a bad high school a student nearly got a detention for letting another student use his ruler like this is messed up so I don’t recommended this high school. (ps this high school need improvements)
Not really leaving a review but can anyone from this school day to a teacher thanks for failing Jac cheers
