I went to this school in 6th grade and we had a dance which was sock hop themed. It was cool and all, but we had to dance with a partner, and it was through V.A.P.A, who called it a “performance.” We had absolutely no food, which is a necessary part of a poor little 6th graders life, there were no cool lights, and we could not call it a dance, only a “VAPA performance.” But OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH don’t get me STARTED with the dance this year!!!! THE BAD PRINCIPAL DECIDED, ” OH, WERE GONNA TREAT THE POOR LITTLE 6TH GRADERS FROM LAST YEAR MEAN, AND GIVE THE 6TH GRADERS FROM THIS YEAR EVERYTHING THEY WANT AND NEED AND CALL IT AN ACTUAL ‘DANCE’ AND GIVE THEM LOADS OF FOOD AND NOT HAVE A CHOREOGRAPHED DANCE FOR THEM AND LET THEM HAVE TONS OF FUN AND TRY TO MAKE THE LITTLE CHILDREN FROM LAST YEAR FEEL JEALOUS.” This school ( really the principal) gave the school this year no student council, no annual talent show, and they brought back CHOCOLATE MILK FOR THEM, NOT ME. So overall, the school isn’t to blame, ITS THE PRINCIPAL. The parent’s support is great, but they have to follow the rules of the principal, even if they don’t like it. This principal is not good.

My child attends this school and is an excellent school to be part of. My oldest son also went here and is now at Eastlake Middle. The staff is great from teachers, custodians all the way up to the principal. Congratulations.
