Ugh, it’s a NO HOMEWORK school, other than reading. Some teachers will send home worksheets for the children to do & while the teachers I have had contact with were great and understanding, the principal Mrs. Jackson, was/is an uptight, condescending wench. She has no children of her own and does not seem to comprehend that (a) not all children are the same when it comes to dealing with others, learning or their own problems & (b) loves to interject herself into matters that are but her concern. Other than Mrs. Jackson I’d say the school is ok.
Tigerville is an amazing school, with amazing staff. Without an amazing principle there would be no amazing school. We live in the riverside school zone and were granted special permission so that all 4 of my children could have tigerville’s wonderful experience, and education, and drive very far so they can be with the best. That speaks volumes in itself. As for Mrs Jacksons children…. She has more then 200 and loves and cares for them all.
