This school is horriable. We just moved here in January. My kids have been going here since, the day I enrolled them is when the problems started. A teachers aid took me down to meet the kids teachers and we ran into the principal, she got mad at me and my sister for not having a visitors pass after the office told us we didn’t need one because we were with a staff member. She didn’t get mad at the office she got mad at me and my sister and we just was there meeting the teachers and it wasn’t our fault. My son has been having issues on the school bus and they don’t try and resolve it. They make it worse. Today I had a personal appt to go to and I called the school and told them I would bring his shot records by 9am because I had to catch him up on two shots, she told me I needed to bring them now or come get my son. So I told her bring my son down and I’ll be there in a minute. I brought the records and she goes to tell me I’ll give them to your son after school, I told her no she needed to take a copy and give the originals back to me. She threw the originals at me and told me I just want my copy’s, so I told her to take copy’s and give my paperwork back to me. I don’t think this school has compassion for their students or parents. The kids teachers are awesome but office staff isn’t. I think that the nurse owes me an apology for the way I was treated. Honestly if I could put them in a new school I would. It just doesn’t work for my schedule and I’m sure no bus. Hopefully for the rest of the year things will get better.

DOCKERY HAS TO BE THE WORSE PRINCIPAL I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED IN MY LIFE. MY KIDS HAVE BEEN GOING TO TIMBER RIDGE SINCE PRE K AND HAVE NEVER HAD ANY ISSUES UNTIL THIS CHICK CAME HERE. I GUESS IT PAYS OFF TO HAVE A FAMILY MEMBER WORK IN KISD HR??

Timber Ridge is a very clean and secured school. Door are secured during the day and students wear ID badges. Traffic during drop off and pick up has a high volume of people.
