As a former President of the parent arm of the Company at Time to Shine, I will be forever grateful to all of the teachers who pushed my daughter as well as other dancers in Company to be the best they can be! As a retired educator, from day one when my daughter and I walked into the studio, we knew we found an excellent program. Not only did the teachers take my daughter under their wings, they poured themselves into her. I was impressed as well as humbled from our 3 years at Time to Shine. Not only did we drive from Pensacola to Pace 4 times a week, I would do it all over again because of the outstanding servant leadership I found at this spectacular place. Due to the negative barrage of comments I have read here, I think it is more about the writers of these comments and their own “sour grapes” as opposed to the literal blood and sweat I saw with my own eyes that pushed students to achieve greatness. Unfortunately, for some berating the studio and hiding behind the Internet seems to be what immature pettiness is. As an alumni from TTS I went from being in the company to taking classes on breaks from college. Without the guidance and impeccable training from the instructors I would not be a college graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in dance. During my time at TTS I was pushed to be the best dancer I could be while in an environment that was filled with love and inspiration! As I am moving into life as a professional dancer and choreographer, when people ask me where to send their children for dance, I always say TTS because you will receive training that will prepare you for a professional career in dance or in other areas in life. I will forever be grateful for the instructors and staff at TTS because without those amazing people, I know I would not be where I am today.
I have danced here for 9 out of the 10 years theyve been open on center company and have absolutely loved it. The environment is one of love and family; I have made all of my best friends at this studio and deep connections with all of my teachers. I have recently graduated and will continue dancing to get my BFA and I owe that all to TTS. As someone whos visited many conventions/intensives/master classes and has friends at other studios in the area, I can 100% say the curriculum and teaching level at this studio is the best. There is no other place like TTS.
