My daughter is in the fourth grade at Timothy Christian School. There are so many things I love about the school but one thing in particular is the mentoring program she is involved in. The fourth graders are paired with a kindergartener as a reading partner. Though they are just a reading partner, I feel like it is so much more. They get to meet with them once a month and get to read to them and talk with them and become a mentor to them. This is such a great experience for her. She absolutely loves it! Her little friend loves to talk with her and ask her questions when they meet. My daughter loves to feel like a big sister to her! I feel like this helps her realize that just as she has people to look up to and emulate, she can be that person that someone will look up to and want to emulate. Her world becomes bigger than just her and I pray that it leads her to be a Titus 2 woman some day, just as the Lord wants her to be.
Our kids have been at Timothy Christian since 1992. Our youngest child will graduate from Timothy, Lord willing in 2026. We are so thankful that in every area of education our children are not only learning about the amazing creation all around them but also of the awesome Creator who made it all as well as His great love for each of them personally, individually.
My daughter is in the K4 program. The staff focuses on a Christ-centered education even at that age.You can tell the teachers and administration faithfully try to model the love of Jesus Christ.
I’m loving the warm, nurturing environment and am looking forward to the spiritual growth and educational developments my daughter will experience at Timothy!
