*The information herein is factual, and from being on location to experience said matters first hand. **Please note that all images have been censored for safety purposes, and this review is to be taken with the upmost-seriousness.

For nearly a half month now I’ve traveled within the vicinity of the Triangle Math and Science Academy located at 312 Gregson Dr. Cary, NC 27511. However, during a normal diving route, which passes this institution-things took an absolute alternate sharp turn into “traffic-chaos.”

My understanding is that Triangle Math and Science Academy relaunched it’s post C-19 open, and the amounts of traffic was absolutely unbelievable. Caught in an iron (vehicles) whirlwind crossfire of said turmoil was one’s self, with an endeavor to simply reach my destination, adjacent to the schools location in the area. What’s so shocking is that I witnessed no law enforcement or security personnel on location. No faculty serving as crosswalk guards or safety supervisors, and absolutely no order to the repetitive bombardment of traffic in all directions. If school staff were on location, which I’m sure they were; the appropriate numbers needed are not sufficient-nor are staff trained to handle this magnitude of heavy activity/traffic.

The situation worsened, as road-raging individuals broke every traffic law written an invented a couple of new ones-for that matter. One older male subject passed nine (9) cars, then swiftly turned into the left fender of my SUV to avoid being hit himself. One word… Hazardous.

I go on to say… Please look at the attached photographs. I would be absolutely in distress if I knew my children were being dismissed into said conditions. Seriously everyone… This is entirely unacceptable. While I understand Triangle Math and Science Academy is a prestigious, and well respected institution… These conditions herein require immediate attention, and rectification swiftly. These present conditions pose serious safety issues to the students; parents, pedestrians, and motorists working in the local area. Many individuals are simply driving through to reach other businesses, and locations. As proof, anyone can view this massive traffic congestion without even venturing to the school’s location, as highway 64 is like that of a blockade, and forcing unprecedented holdups of normal traffic flow.

In conclusion, it’s my intention that this review be taken with paramount concerns, and that someone with authority via the school board administration, law enforcement or government official(s) will come forward-an recognize-this is a problem. I might add… Appropriate transportation should definitely be offered to any parent(s) compensating said school with tuition fees. I speak truthfully, and honestly in saying-I wouldn’t dare-send my offspring-into the chaos-that I experienced, and my heart goes out to every parent and commuting motorists-that has to endure said conditions weekly. I challenge anyone that can add constructive remarks bases of their experience to please-chime-in, and parents that can voice change directly to Triangle Math and Science Academy located at 312 Gregson Dr. of Cary, NC 27511 to please… Please! Make a difference-by expressing this factual information herein, and the conditions which are presently ongoing in your next Parent Teacher Administration Conference.

(Edit: I have been in TMSA for 7 years so far and I am currently now in middle school. I am no longer in Elementary and these specifications are from 5th grade.) I am very, very lucky in getting in this school in the first place. During Covid, it is difficult to really get the schedule but depending on which teacher, I think my current teachers (not named) are really helpful and sometimes we read books and in the afternoon on some days we get to do some projects. The staff and teachers are really nice and very friendly. They also have a thing called “Specials” where it is something outside of the usual class where we do things like PE, art, music, technology, and STEM. (Note that Specials are only for Elementary and I don’t really understand the Middle School or High School things) I would also like to mention that this school has Kindergarten and has Elementary, Middle School, and High school all together! They also have something called MAP tests we do during Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons. There is also a thing I would mention is that when you go to 4th/5th grade is that you get to pick something called Tiger Tails. (More information is possibly on their website) The only thing I can really criticize about is the carpool management but I know it isn’t easy for staffs and teachers to organize it. It is something new for everyone but other than that, it is a very good school. I would personally, as a student, recommend this school and I’m not trying to sugar coat anything. It’s a very good school and if you are finding a school for your child, please consider this school. We love Triangle Math and Science Academy! The adminstration, teachers and staff are very dedicated to their students. They care about student success and I just love how they know all the students’ names. Teachers are awesome! I love seeing my kids thrive and being appreciated for who they are at TMSA. I also like the diversity of the student population and the school curriculum. TMSA is constantly looking for ways to improve the school because like many other schools there are room for improvement; and I can appreciate that. As a mom, I feel good that my kids are in a loving and supportive learning environment.
