I give it 2 stars because the first year at Tointon was great. We are now in year 2 and I have two children who attend this school, one in K and one is 1st. A few scratches on my developmentally delayed child led to them calling cps on me. Of course nothing came of it but what happened to talking to the parents? They lost my son on day 2 for 3 hours on a bus. They had every bus in Greeley pulled over. I really should have stopped trusting them then. Don’t trust the social worker, assistant principal and my sons 1st grade teacher, who does my sons work for him because she probably gets annoyed at his delay, and syncs him up with 5th graders with worse grammer than a 2 year old.
This school can’t and shouldn’t handle kids with special needs. I will be filing a complaint with the CDE. I will update.
The 6th grade math teacher is the strictest person alive. She gets mad at us for missing school when we are sick and makes us work on missing work during recess. I’m in T.I. and I asked her “hey can I work on it during T.I.” she said no and it’s what I get for missing school. I had a fever the day before.
