Every mom would understand my feeling when I say, it is un-nerving to lose sight of your little precious ones for many hours in the day. It was that day when I went to take a tour of Tomorrows Hope Montessori on the recommendation of my close friend whose 4 year old daughter just started there. This was my second time going through it after experience day care for my son in a non Montessori school so I had a comparison point in mind. The property looked very clean and people there were very loving so I took the leap of faith and enrolled by twin daughters (at 1.7 years) into this school. In the 3 months they have spent there, I have seen TREMENDOUS change for the good. They are so much more independent (a life savior for a mom of three like me), they are so content, they are talking much more and they are happy as they get to go out of the house and interact with other little people ?, they have started potty training already (one year before my son started it!) and they are less pickier in eating. I am so thankful for the staff of Tomorrows hope to always be so loving, caring and flexible to my needs. They even modified their holiday calendar to accommodate for working parents schedule. The school has an on the premise kitchen and serves fresh meals which the kids love! All in all, the only thing they are lacking at the moment is enough kids to start enrichment programs so please consider this school for your child if you are looking for one!
Our son started Tomorrow’s Hope Montessori School in June 2015. At the time he was 2.5 (turning 3 at the end of June) and this was his first time away from home attending school. We chose this school because we were not only impressed by the new top notch state of the art facility but, also the friendly staff and warm inviting environment. He was the first child (and only at the time) in his class and that experience was priceless working with his teacher one on one and getting him use to being in a learning environment away from home. That was the best decision we could have ever made instead of putting him in a daycare or larger facility (non Montessori)! Once he turned 3 he moved over to the primary class where he’s joined by a small group of classmates and that works to our advantage because the teacher is able to give more 1/1 time with each kid and that’s awesome. Our son has learned so much and we can see him continuing to blossom every day. We not only love the facility and the dedication to learning but, we love and appreciate the staff which is very important since they have our kid all day :). It’s a tight knit community and we are all like family there. I would highly recommend this school if you are looking for excellence in learning true Montessori style! It’s amazing…
We decided to enroll my daughter to Montessori school after she spent about 10 months in a traditional setting. We have visited numerous daycare centers/schools, traditional and montessori, and after touring Tomorrow’s Hope, we were impressed firstly with the facility and the advantage of smaller number of children in the classroom as the school is rather new. It took our daughter 2 months to get readjusted (she loves her old school) but I am glad that we stick to it. Her primary teacher is disciplined yet caring. She listened to my feedback and that helped a lot with my daughter transition from her “old” classroom to the new school. She used to not letting me go during drop off, now she doesn’t even give me a hug when I drop her off because she feels safe and happy being at school. So thank you Tomorrow’s Hope staff for making her feel being at “home”.
