I am a retired teacher from Hillsborough County schools. My one grandson with health issues has attended TNC Academy 3 years. We also had one grandson that struggled in public school. In his junior year he was admitted to TNC where they helped him in achieving his goals. With the help of Dr. D the math tutor & Dr. Perry the principal our grandson accomplished completing the requirements for a hs dipolma. What an awesome program. Children work at their own pace in workbooks. They grade & correct their own work. When they finish their workbook they are tested. The test results are their grade.The teachers meet the individual needs of the students. The teacher is a facilitator who is there to help & monitor the students individually. They are provided a math & reading tutor. Unbelievable wonderful program. Small classes, Christian environment. Teachers really care about the students.
This is the best Christian school that I have ever been associated with. The school is involved with the church and the church is actively involved with the school. The faculty and staff instill moral and virtue in the students as part of their academic success and I applaud them for doing this. I see such a lack of a family type atmosphere in the public schools. I support this Academy and highly recommend attending here. I also attend TNC Nazarene and Highly recommend worshiping there.
This school is not the best but i will say its better than most public schools
