I highly recommend this school if youre thinking about getting into phlebotomy. The professor/instructor, Jaime Serna, was awesome, he answered any and all questions myself or the other students had. The staff is super helpful, Sam helped me with licensing portion and was great at communicating with me and always willing to walk me through everything.
I signed up for the course at the beginning of the pandemic so my class was done over zoom unfortunately when everything opened back up I returned to the job I had and left phlebotomy on the back burner, which brings me to the part that I will be the most grateful of I called the school about October 2021 asking if there was possibility to retake the course and Dr. Jay welcomed me back and I was able to come to the school and take the course again (in person). Hands down better for me as I prefer in person courses. All in all, I appreciate everything and I look forward to this next chapter in my life. Thank you NIU College!
NIU is an outstanding college and the 1st college that I attended that treated me with the most kindness and professionalism. I enrolled at the college to study paralegal and graduated with my certificate on November 6th, 2022. Dr. Jay Askari from day 1 was always there for me everything from planning my class schedules, and always being my voice of reason when I felt discouraged. Everyone would benefit from having someone like Dr. Jay in their corner. Everyone at NIU especially the teachers are outstanding and will take the time to make sure that you are progressing and will always be there for you. If every college was outstanding as NIU college the educational system would be so much better. This is a great college. Don’t overlook vocational schools because they actually care you’re not just a number like in most overcrowded 4 year colleges.
I highly recommend NIU college for anyone who wants to better their lives through education.
I can say with confidence that I am delighted that I chose NIU College. The staff are amiable and always ready to help with any question. Dr. J. Askari takes excellent care of his students and his employees. I recommend this college because they take your education seriously. I currently take a Medical Assistant class and am very happy with my teacher. In general, the impressions of the training are positive: wonderful teachers, an accessible and engaging presentation of the material, a willingness to meet, support the student’s position. Thanks to the teacher who teaches me that she explains the material we study in an accessible way. Thanks to Ms. Devine, I get a good knowledge of my future profession, support, and help during my studies. Thanks to the whole team for their work that makes the study enjoyable in good conditions.
