One of their admin told me I dont care about my kid because I was not able to fit in their small conference window that was in the middle of the work day. A different admin trash talked regular ISD schools even when I told them to please stop because I work for the regular ISD. The front office lady called my ex when I tried to check my son out like I was trying to kidnap my child. They said I wasnt listed as a guardian but yet they have released sooo much of his private information to me in the past, like grades and screening data. Im sick of this school. The experience keeps getting worse. I want to withdraw my kid so bad, but his Dad insists we keep him enrolled. Overall this school sucks with being accommodating to non traditional family structures and divorced families, and they dont do well with kids who exhibit challenging behaviors.
Editing to add another incident with the principal. I was not in the correct area for field day to watch my kid. The principal could have just told me, but she instead accosted me very aggressively in the parking lot and threatened to have me removed from the premises. If she just asked I would have moved. Which I did immediately after she was so rude to me.
Trivium Academy has been our home for the past four years. If you are seeking a school that goes beyond the conventional, prioritizes individualized learning, and places a strong emphasis on parent involvement, then Trivium Academy is the place for you.
Their dedication to understanding and then meeting the needs of each child is evident in the attention our kids receive. Unlike larger education systems, Trivium takes pride in tailoring the learning experience to suit each child. My kids have thrived in this environment and I truly thank all the teachers we’ve had for their success.
We wholeheartedly recommend this school and are grateful for the positive impact it has had on our children’s lives.
I have had a great experience at this school. One major difference between Trivium and other schools is the OnRamps program. OnRamps is a dual credit program offered through UT. Mrs. Ram, one of the teachers who teaches this program, is the kindest and most patient person I know. Because of Mrs. Ram, I have learned so much. She has taught me more than just math. She has taught me things like good study habits, determination, and how to be a better student and person. She is one of the best teachers I have had, and I am so lucky to be able to continue to have her as my teacher.
