Teachers do not keep in communication with parents. They conduct exams on thing that are not practiced for homework and do not tell you that their will be a test. If your child needs additional help, they do not have an effective staff person to help your child progress. And that person never contacts the parent to tell you how your child is progressing. We are in March and we have only spoken to this person once back in October or so. We reached out to her in January and we are still waiting to hear from her. Supposedly we will find out something during the parent teacher conference which I am assuming is sometime this month. They are teaching 5 year olds from so called History book that is meant to be for children 7-11. If you are Christian, be aware that this “History book” goes over pagan Gods in which the children do movement to describe the “horns of Osiris” and the process of mummification as part of their Kindergarten curriculum.
I am very pleased with the education my 5 year old daughter is receiving at True North Classical Academy. The curriculum is challenging enough for her age group but not stressful on the children. It’s reinforced with support, love and encouragement, from the wonderful teachers. I appreciate what she learns because it truly is focused on what’s true and beautiful e.g. history, literature, math, art, music, sportsmanship, all of it taught without any biases of religion, politics, or other. History is history as math is math and I appreciate the dedication to teach subjects that give my child a true love/appreciation of learning. True North is a gem. I recommend it for all children.
Run by scam artists. I have tried to collect payment for training od their football team from 1.5 years ago. They owe money to various vendors and service providers. Athletic department is completely incompetent. Very sad to even have to write this about a school where parents trust their kids to educators and staff to do best by them. If this is hiw they go about their business, it scares me how they operate within their own walls. From what I understand, many parents have pulled their kids do to empty promises and little delivery.
