An adorable space, with great teachers with the yougest caretaker & me ballet class in Long Island City. Classes start for toddlers as young as 18 months the keep the kids moving incorporating ballet, streching, movement, animals, prop (ribbon, flower & wand) activities, bubbles, storytime and coloring. Plus the cutest part when they whisper & yell ‘I love ballet & thank you for the magic’ ??. My son and I enjoyed our time there and look forward to taking more classes with Tutu school in the future.
My daughter has been going to classes here since she was ~18months old (she’s now almost 2) and each week and month she enjoys it more and more! The teachers are so friendly and interactive and the company as a whole is flexible with makeup dates/times. They offer recitals throughout the year which are the cutest thing! I never danced growing up, but am so happy I had my daughter join to get used to a class structure and, most importantly, for fun!!
We had a fantastic experience at Tutu School Long Island City! Both our 4-year-old girl and 5-year-old boy felt incredibly welcomed. The class was wonderfully inclusive and accommodating, especially for our son, who is autistic. The instructor made the class fun, and it was an absolute joy to watch our kids thrive and enjoy themselves in the beautiful space in LIC. Highly recommend! ????
