I wouldn’t recommend the online program it’s very disorganized if you send a email for help they will have multiple people send you emails and not just that one person and everyone won’t be on the same page ( you will basically have to constantly repeat yourself for what you need help with) it shouldn’t take all that to answer a question they lied and said you have support 24/7 that’s a lie I have been waiting for three weeks now to get a tutor. The lectures are so boring they need to get a better speaker and not someone who just say “ughhh ughh”and keep messing with his glasses all day. They need to insert videos on how to take blood pressure, how to read an ekg, and how to do the phlebotomy part instead of making everything a PowerPoint. Then when we do ask them how something should be done they say look it up on google or YouTube that’s not good enough for me because what if that information is incorrect I paid 2,000 for this program to teach me not google, not YouTube THIS COURSE IS A JOKE!!! Thank God for Quizlet because if I didn’t have Quizlet I would be screwed I don’t feel like I’m learning anything in this course I don’t feel supported hopefully what I’m learning on YouTube and TikTok is correct. Oh yeah and let’s not forget at the beginning of the course there going to make it seem like the course is all good by giving you the easy stuff such as how to set up your computer, how to think critical and anatomy so you can pass a certain amount of hours so you cant get a refund but later on down the program you will see how full of it they are. I have taken multiple classes online and this have been the worse one I have ever taken my entire life there’s no structure for this course. I’m very disappointed in TJC
Love TJC West Campus Energy Center, There is so much room to grow, the place is filled with opportunities to better your future, robotics is right around the corner. The staff/professors are very friendly,, kind and helpful, they will push you to be the best version of yourself if you allow it. The thing I love the most about our Energy center is the welding and the power plant program, there’s also Automotive another great program. Look into industrial maintenance which is very huge and growing field. There are many other great programs , if you haven’t yet check their main website for all their program listings. There is plenty of space to study and its usually very peaceful sometimes I ditch the library and just study in one of the computer labs. Plenty of parking space and food places nearby if you need a quick bite!
