In my time of being at ups it’s was great except when Kathe ntziaferis would yell at us for putting our hands up. Over all amazing school . If I could rate her it would be less then one. very disappointing Kathe
I was lucky enough to be in the area to be able to send my son (now Year 1) to this school. I have nothing but praise at the approach from the Principal Helen and the staff at welcoming my son. Helen’s warmhearted approach together with his kindergarten teacher ensured my son integrated into the school system with ease. I have nothing but admiration at the talented staff and grateful that the principal Helen is approachable with any issues that are rectified without judgement. Great school and highly recommended.
My child has attended this school for several years and started here in Kindy. She has been a moderately high needs child and very emotional which has put some extra pressure on staff. She has been so well supported by every single teacher and the Principal Helen at every single point in this time. They are tuned in to her complex needs and implement strategies to help her at every turn and the proof is evident in the dramatic progress my child has made both emotionally and socially. The small nature of the school coupled with the dedication of the staff creates an environment where individualised care is accessible. I have spent time in other schools and spend a lot of time on the grounds at Undercliffe and whilst it is easy to write up pros and cons of each school (of course there are some at every school), it all boils down to whether or not the kids are happy and supported and I can say with certainty that the kids of Undercliffe are a fabulous and happy lot in all that I have seen.
In response to mimi macs review.
As a mother who’s 3 children have and are attending undercliffe public school and a parent who is not easily fooled I have been at this school longer then mrs misiris and her teachers .
This review is soooo far from the truth !!
All teachers regarding their nationalities have and will do everything but the best for the children at the school!
Mrs misiris has been the only principal who has bent over backwards , worked overtime and will drop everything to discuss my concerns.
I am deeply sorry that you have left the school with so much hate !!
But hopefully your child didn’t leave with the same views because at the end of the day our children’s education is all that counts .
My kids didn’t enjoy going to this school.
