I enrolled in the program because I wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. I knew that being a medical assistant would open up more opportunities for me.
It wasn’t easy at first; being around other students who had been in the program for a longer period of time. But it only takes time. My professors were wonderful; they were always available to assist me or answer any issues I had. They were very supportive. The program is fast paced, but it’s great how much you can learn. Carrier services were very helpful and supportive. They helped me in developing my resume; I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to complete it due to a lack of experience. But they know exactly what they’re doing. So, it was great having their support.

If you want to start a career in medicine, I highly recommend this school. Don’t be afraid to seek assistance; the school has a lot of resources available to anyone interested in the programs they offer.

I am a recent graduate of Unitek College and Paul Toomey, a graduate employment specialist, was the one who helped me find a job. As soon as I passed my Nclex, he reached out to me immediately and he was there to guide me to look for facilities that have open positions. Even when I went on vacation, Paul never failed to reach out. He made sure that we stay in contact until I can get a position. He never failed to update or call me whenever he found information about some facilities I wanted to apply to. He is also always available whenever I reach out to him. I appreciate Paul’s effort in reaching out to employers and sending in my resume. He is amazing and very reliable! I recommend working with Paul once you graduate! He will help you a lot!!
