Hello, I have been at UAS for a week now, and here is my experience:

1. This school is very well-organized, and the staff are very nice and funny.
2. The education is very good.
3. The teachers teach well.

My only concerns are the fees and the maths facilities. Other than that, this school is amazing.

Hello,

I am currently a student at UASD. First, let’s start with the thing that bothers me most—discipline. I really want to learn. I always ask teachers for help and always perform well academically. However, my classmates are not like that at all. I have faced many bullying problems at school just because I like learning. Classroom behavior is awful. There is no discipline, and teachers seem fine with students running around, talking, and screaming while others are trying to focus. I am personally unhappy with this because I want to learn and hate being distracted.

Parents, if you want your child to improve academically, this is not the right place. I am always motivated and encouraged to learn, but the teachers do not help me with this! For example, during tests, I literally cannot concentrate because of others laughing or screaming.

We went to rent a badminton court at this school. The rate is very good. However, the court had two markings on the floor: one for basketball and another for badminton.

While playing, the different colors for the badminton (white) and basketball (red) lines were not a problem.

Plus, we got free parking inside the school.

One of the worst schools in Dubai. I really don’t advise anyone to enroll their loved ones in that school. After two years at the school, we concluded that it was a big waste of time and money. Even academically, our child was not improving for more than a year there! The elementary teachers are not adapted to the age of the kids they are teaching, the elementary principal is just not available when you need explanations, and the most alarming thing about the school is that there is no discipline at all. I have witnessed kids being bullied while teachers laughed at the scene. Kids are left to themselves most of the time without anyone watching them. KG2 kids are watching “Masha” instead of learning anything!
Teacher turnover is insane, with the best ones leaving all the time. Once, we were presented with a teacher at the beginning of the year, and a week later the person left with no explanation from the principal or the management.
We had a horrible experience there!
Now that we have transferred our son to another school, we can see a big difference in all aspects. Our child is happy again and really evolving academically.
I moved my daughter from Gems World Academy to this school. It is smaller than Gems World Academy, but my opinion is that the professors and teachers are definitely better and better organized. The primary school principal is an Irish lady who is very friendly and professional. The school’s ownership is surely one of the best and richest families in the Gulf, and they invest more and more in this school every year! I am satisfied, and my daughter is very happy!
Very good school. My son has been going to Universal American School for the last two years, and I couldn’t be happier and more satisfied with his progress. I will be enrolling my daughter here as well.
UAS is solely a business enterprise and appears to prioritize profit over educational excellence. Their approach seems entirely commercially driven, lacking respect for academic values and principles. However, the teachers are commendable.
