Well, so far I have been very impressed with the faculty and staff of the Law School. After attending the Offer Holder’s day today (2024 intake) and had a few interactions with some of the teaching staff via email and in person over the last 6 months, my daughter has just accepted her offer to study there starting in September. I could not be happier with her decision and having heard from 3rd and 4th year students speak today, I am confident she has made the correct choice of which Scottish university to study law at.
The factors that convinced me (and my daughter) were the prompt, personal and considered replies to emails. It is extremely reassuring to know that staff take personal pride and responsibility to give their time to a prospective student and I am sure the pastoral care will be outstanding.
I was also impressed with the modern curriculum that was available to challenge and satisfy every students’ passion and curiosity.
If this review is still up in 5 years, then all must be good! Fingers crossed.

I’m an attorney in the US. In law school I was fortunate enough to spend a summer studying in Aberdeen. It was the best time of my life. Everyone involved was incredibly kind and helpful. The course material was fascinating and trips were mind-opening.

I’m glad I was able to spend time studying at such a lovely institution — I will always remember how kind and intelligent University of Aberdeen faculty and staff were as well as all those I encountered.
