This is one of the best schools in Chicago. I am very honored and blessed to have my Son at the school. if you are thinking about your son going to the school, please consider it they have helped my son through one of the worst times a parent can imagine. My son is a person who has always been closed off and would never open up to anyone. He was afraid of the way people would treat him if they found out that he was academically challenged. But the special education director, teachers, counselors and principal were very supportive. They made him feel like he was part of there family. My son felt protected. With that he began to open up more about himself and pursue big dreams. He is a new man. They say “It takes a village to raise a child” THANK YOU URBAN PREP BRONZVILLE for being part of that Village. I will always be singing your praises.
It’s a pretty great school for there education, as far as there football team, they always firing there best coaches, for some out reason this last coach they has, we called as coach G seen there best interest not only in there academics but as well with there right college scouts looking at each football players, you all didn’t give any of these coaches, a chance to give our boys, a chance to really meet there requirements of football equipments that they nees
The principal, dean and other staff member are incompetent. They cannot even comprehend their own policy. They do not have the best interest of student in mind when making disciplinary decisions. They make uneducated decisions and without other members input. I have another son enter high school and Urban Prep will not even be an option.
