We LOVE Aquatics Academy. We followed them around in their early years with our first child so when our second child came as a surprise, I knew without a doubt he would get lessons from them. All the instructors are fabulous and intuitive to each child’s needs. We trusted the process and are so grateful for the confidence and safety it’s given my 2.5 year old. We have been seeing Charlie since he was 16 months old. We would come on a more regular basis when he was learning his survival skills but now come because he loves Charlie and is learning new strokes. People are always amazed when they see my son swim and stop to ask me where he learned to swim and be confident around the water- he has never worn a puddle jumper in his life.
The Aquatics Academy is a beautiful facility and very clean- the staff is always cleaning and disinfecting. It’s probably the only public bathroom I would ever use without shoes on ??. The office staff is very attentive and quick to respond to questions and emails- everyone is so friendly. My son gets so excited when I tell him he has swimming lessons that day. The water is always so clean, clear and warm. I’m so grateful for a swimming school that takes pride in the care of their facility while also caring about their clients and their safety. I recommend this place to all my friends and family!! You can’t put a price on your child’s safety!!

If you can find an instructor that has more than about 2 hours of training time-don’t get too attached. They’ll be gone within a month. The working conditions here must be awful, since we bought a pack of lessons (non refundable-not disclosed when we bought at the front desk), the entire front desk staff has changed and we have been moved to 6 different instructors because ours have short quit or been let go. The pool is also many degrees colder than they say it is and they close pretty often for chemical issues. The owner of this business is extremely unpleasant to deal with, your best bet for getting anything done would be to ask the new heavyset woman at the desk.

If you’ve ever wondered what taking your kids to swimming lessons at an abandoned building is like-here is your big chance. Should have been turned off by the very few cars in the parking lot but thought I would give them a try for a few lessons. This place is SCARY. Bathrooms look as if they’ve never been cleaned, showers are absolutely disgusting. I did not let my children shower for fear of catching something. Everywhere you look in this building is something in disrepair. Very reminiscent of a 2000’s Kmart-surprised the lights are all still on.
