I recently graduated at VACE in March 2017 from the 38 week Studio Production program. I started as a 28 week Digital Multimedia student there, but as the school works as a self paced school, it was easy to excel because at VACE each individual’s success is based upon themselves. After I had finished the curriculum for Digital Multimedia, the school encouraged me to pursue Studio Production -for no extra cost-.

My experience at VACE was a real turning point in my life as the job and field that I work now, use all the skills that I learned completely from VACE and no where else. They provided the computer/software/everything I needed and my FAFSA almost covered my entire education at VACE as they are very reasonably priced.

Nearing my graduation I worked with very detail oriented job counslers who helped me bring the best out of myself out in portfolio, resume, and the way I answered interview questions. The support from VACE was really present during my job hunt and where I work now was actually through someone I met through my teachers when VACE got me in contact with the VC Inovate’s event Entree to Employment.

All this of course is coming from a student who really made the best of what was available and was very active at the school, (serving as a Student Rep on Student Council and leading as a co-president for about 3 months) so it brings me back to the beginning of my reciew: at VACE, each individual’s success is based upon how well they apply themselves. There is no reason why someone couldn’t be the best candidate for a job leaving this school if they put themselves out there after their job hunt, and really soaked in the material whilst attending.

I would highly recommend this school to anyone interested in pursuing non-traditional education, as college is not for everyone, or even if college is for you; having supplemental knowledge in your specific trade is never ever a bad thing to strive for, and this is the perfect place to do that 🙂

Recent graduate in Business Administration & Management and Computerized Financial Accounting. VACE has provided me with the opportunity to explore and commence a new career. My experience, the moment I stepped into the campus, was immediately satisfying and impressive. The front staff were and are very welcoming and informative. All my questions and concerns were answered making it very easy to make a decision to become a member of the VACE family. In addition, my instructors, Claudia Young and Karl Akkerman, have been delightful and amazing instructors. Both provided great value in my studies, such as, instructional courses, work life lessons, opportunity to give back to the community, network, and many business challenging lessons.

Furthermore, immediately after graduating I continued to be given support in my career search. The job placement counselor, Kay Miller, as been an amazing counselor. She is always in great spirits and very motivated to help the students at VACE. She is very pleasant to work with.

I highly recommend this school to whomever is searching or changing career. You will be given the opportunity to gain the necessary skills to achieve your goals. Very proud to be part of the VACE family, as well as, an ambassador. Give them a visit when you are ready to make a change in your future.

VACE is a great place to learn, I graduated October 2016 for the Studio Production program, learned from great instructors that make sure you know the material before you graduate, I also started my internship with TDC Studios while I’m job hunting. You meet amazing people and everyone is willing to give a helping hand. After you graduate you have counselors that are finding ways to help you improve on your resume, cover letter and even prep for job interviews. You can ask for extended time and no additional cost. You just take one class, hands on learning and no lecturing. You are going to gain skills that employers are looking for.I’m glad I found the hidden treasure of Ventura that is VACE. If you can’t afford college, give VACE a go, you won’t regret it.
