Ive lived here in the high desert for 15 years, I never have stepped foot at the VVUHSD until today to pick up my high school transcripts. My transcripts were ready within a day after ordering which I am impressed. However, I was expecting it to be at the office on Mojave, but its not. They have these ghetto classroom portables as offices in the back. There was a line and my waiting time was 15-20 minutes to finally be assisted for a 1-2 minute pick-up. I had told one worker I had came in for a quick pickup but I had to wait. So just know that its the same line for pickup as others being registered and taking quite a long time with paperwork 🙁
This school district is horrible at calling or emailing back. I’m trying to get in touch with the transcript department and I can’t no one answers the phone NEVER!!!!! I am trying to go to college!!!!!! And being a student that just graduated trying to get their life together they are no help. Some of them don’t have a sense of urgency it’s like they don’t care. They don’t need to work for the district and for schools as well if it’s not their passion to help out students and parents for schooling. I am sick that’s why I haven’t been back up there but now I gotta get out the bed to go.
When conducting an interview it all went well the people were nice yet didnt introduce themselves. It wasnt until the end when I asked for their names that they said anything. My main problem is that they dont contact you if you didnt pass unless you send them an email asking. This is super unprofessional. I passed up other jobs waiting for a response. In the future for the sake of other people applying even if they dont pass let them know.
