This school is the worst! Don’t send your children here. The teachers aren’t effective, the students are disrespectful, and nobody cares. Consider this your warning.
Very good school with its weak and strong points. As with any school in the UAE, there is room for improvement. The old school building is becoming too small for the number of students admitted.
One aspect for which I deducted a star is the condition of the old building. Due to its age, there are limited facilities available for student activities. It would be wonderful if there were more resources and spaces dedicated to extracurricular activities and student engagement. However, I must commend the school for its amazing learning strategies. Despite the limitations of the old building, the teaching methods employed by the faculty are outstanding. As a result, our IGCSE students have consistently graduated with high marks, which is truly commendable.

Moreover, I have noticed that student morale is exceptionally high. The school has fostered a well-behaved and supportive community where everyone genuinely cares about each other’s education. This is particularly evident in the higher grades, where the level of dedication to academic success is remarkable.

I greatly appreciate the school’s commitment to anti-bullying measures. It is reassuring to know that the administration takes this issue seriously and strives to create a safe and inclusive environment for all students. This dedication to maintaining a positive school culture is truly commendable.

One suggestion I would like to offer is to ensure the retention of good teachers beyond their initial two-year contracts. Continuity is vital in building strong relationships between students and teachers, and it would be beneficial to the overall educational experience if highly skilled educators remained at the school for a longer period.

In conclusion, I highly recommend VES to other parents and guardians. Despite some limitations in terms of facilities due to the old building, the school’s commitment to exceptional learning strategies, high academic achievements, positive student morale, and zero tolerance for bullying make it an excellent choice for our children’s education.

Thank you for providing a wonderful educational environment for our children.

We’ve been with VES for 13 years now. The education my eldest son received was beyond expectations; he developed a very strong base with excellent critical thinking skills. Without the hard work of his teachers, he wouldn’t have made it this far. With my youngest, things were slightly different. Though he developed very good thinking and analytical skills, the range of projects and activities was smaller. However, that was related to the pandemic, besides being online for quite a long time.

Both are in secondary school now, and they are always eager to learn. The secondary teachers are very supportive and experienced. I am pleased and delighted with the level of education that both my boys are receiving and will continue to receive.

My sister-in-law needed a school for her daughter. We received recommendations from many people to consider this school. When we contacted them, they provided us with the mobile number of an Arabic lady, Ms. Nagam. She informed us that there were places available for grade 4, but we needed to complete a test and pay 150 AED. She was very responsive and pleasant. We registered all the details and completed the online test. After we paid, we did not hear from her again, despite our attempts to follow up and inquire about our application status. It is very disrespectful to take money and not respond to phone calls or texts. When we applied to Choueifat School, they administered several tests, gave us the opportunity to retake them, and took half a week to respond. However, they were courteous enough to call back and inform us of their decision. This was our experience.
The school isn’t that bad, but there’s still room for improvement. Pupil behavior should be monitored more. I met some cool people there, though.
I am in Year 5, Mr. Porter’s class. I have been here since Year 4, in Mr. Henry’s class. I have made so many friends, including Daniyal Abdullah. The staff are friendly, and so are the pupils. I love this school, and I recommend it as a go-to school. I have learned so many things and will continue to learn.
