The VA Russian Academy is an amazing place for children to learn Russian, make friends and have fun. We were lucky to find this exceptional school conveniently located off of Route 7 in Sterling a few years ago and have been customers ever since. As many Russian-speaking parents with bi-lingual children, we were concerned about the preservation of Russian language abilities, which are so easy to lose even with everyday reading and speaking at home. The school exceeded our expectations:not only does it use high-quality material and employ professional educators, but it also creates an atmosphere of friendship, kindness and curiosity. During 4.5 hours of Saturday classes on math, reading and writing, children spend time playing at the outdoor playground, too, as they should! 🙂 The school also offers additional lessons on theater, art, etiquette, and chess, as well as summer camp options. And they celebrate traditional holidays, too! 🙂

I would like to take a moment and share about Virginia Russian Academy. We came to this school from another Russian school and never regretted. This school gave my son a strong and solid education. We had wonderful and talented teachers who were very professional and caring. I now enjoy speaking with my son in Russian language at home, being able to share and discuss Russian books, and watching him communicate perfectly with my parents (so important!) All of this speaks for itself. I highly recommend this school. We loved it. Thank you “Virginia Russian Academy” for doing an amazing job for the younger generations!
