My name is Alex Thompson. I have attended Maxwell High School in 2006-2010. I miss all of my teachers there; they have taught me so much. I remember this one teach named Ms. Koch. She always was very hard on me and I never understood why. But now I see she just was preparing me for what was to come in my future. I am now in the US. Army. I would say it was me and all the hard work i did that got me here. But really is was the guidance and love that the teachers in Maxwell showed me; who deserve all the credit for my success I thank them so much for pointing me in the right direction.
I attended WH Maxwell back in 1970. It is hard to believe the negative comments I have read. When I attended Maxwell, it was a wonderful all-girls high school. The teachers were dedicated professtionals who really demonstrated concern about their students. I hold dear memories of my years at Maxwell. Even 52 years later, I still miss those days!”
They were excellent in thier efforts to transition students who were interested in attending college.
