W S Permenter Middle School, Cedar Hill | Fees, Rankings, Address, Admission, Vacancies, Reviews & More

This is BY FAR the absolute WORST school (and district) I’ve EVER had to deal with; and that’s the whole-hearted, honest truth!! I have four children and we moved from the Mansfield school district to get closer to the Lakeridge area and considered buying a home in this area because it’s not over populated like a lot of other municipalities. We have traveled and dealt with 6 schools over the last 10 years and this again is seriously by far the worst!

This is what we have experienced in our time of residing here in the past 2 years: The education is subpare, the staff can barely teach, the administration will avoid conferences or returning calls, my child hardly ever has homework, they rest almost all the decisions in the hands of an incompetent Asst. Principal who I could make a 3-page detailed list on why he should not be working there or with people at all for that matter, teachers and random staff will constantly refer kids to the office so they don’t have to be bothered, and the main solution to any referral is to suspend your child for any minor reason they can find; and bullying in this school is rampant and almost sadly encouraged by the actions lack of proper enforcement of their anti-bullying programs.

As a result, my child has been in several fights trying to defend herself, and the Campus Police and Principal have had to escort my child home on numerous occasions. Bullies have followed my child to class in the middle of the school day and home from school with calculated intentions to fight and harassment; and boldly even tried to force their way into my home!! When cops were called and this was reported to the school, their response was to hand me a highlighted paragraph of their policy stating that “if a conflict happens 300ft. or more away from campus, then they will take no responsibility,” Well isn’t that convenient. Because I asked for a copy of their bullying policies, not their lack of responsibility policies.

To make matters worse, my child’s grades and liking for school have tanked due to all of the stress and lack of support or safety. I have gone to the school board, who’s only response was not an apology or a statement of concern; No their statement was “that’s not the form you use for this” although the compliant form used came from their staff assisting with operating of the meeting…really!?!

I am so fed up with this school and district! Moving to Cedar Hill was the worst mistake of my life and Cedar Hill H.S. is no better, I could write a list about their inconveniences as well.
My honest opinion would be to stay FAR away from this SCHOOL at all cost! The only positive is that this is an open school district.
However frustrated parents have been leaving bad reviews every where except the Collegiate school, who is so packed it’s hit or miss with enrollment.

This is the worst school y’all please don’t send your child to this hell hole I will never let my son come back here just because he have nice things he gets pick on and the teacher are something else…, they are going with the students and everything I have reported some things nothing have been done a bout it at all they right up there everyday I have seen girl do things in that trail and I am a grow woman and have not done them baby I wouldn’t let my dog go here ….it so sad I look on my street only two kids go to this hell hole I have talk with other people on my street and they say I wouldn’t send my child to that school they would have to kill me .Its sad to they don’t know how to work with kids with special needs I hope my letter I sent and the meeting I had will get some of these no good teacher out of this school I know how to do the right thing.if you love your child please send them some where else this school is sorry they work for the paycheck not because teaching is in there hearts look parents stop thinking just because there teacher that they are right remember they are all human and make mistakes just like us stop putting them on a pedestal listen to your children please………,, sign A man black woman

Love the school but some of the water fountains are out of order they need to be fixed even I wish they would had stars and elevators at this school to have 2 stories like bessie Coleman do but this school only has 1 story
