Hey. I just recently graduated from wadleigh a few weeks ago and I love the school to the bottom of my heart. Yes many people have there own views on wadleigh.. but so what. yes wadleigh has a bad rep from what people read about but not many people have taken the chance and came to see the culture and love the staff and students give off. I came in to Wadleigh as a visual arts student but I left having a passion for theater as well. Wadleigh not only helps you perfect your craft but they push you to want to do better and more. Being in this school I was giving the chance to work at the Apollo Theater as an intern, and im currenty going to be working at Colgate this summer as an intern. Wadleigh has many connections but not many people see that because of the disrespect others who hasnt been apart of the school has to say. Wadleigh is a great school and in the future when I have children I wouldn’t mind having them attend the school. Ive met great people who has worked there.. and they even cared for me as there own four the last four years…..For the students out there whos looking Wadleigh up don’t listen to what other have to say because at the end of they day, they most likely didn’t attend and is going off from what others said. This school has meaning and so much pride. Theyve helped many of us get in to Howard, Buffalo state, Oneonta, Mercy, Fit…etc…. If Wadleigh didn’t care they wouldn’t have pushed us as hard as they did… I love this school and I hope many of u out there give it a chance.
Graudated Wadleigh in 2017, graduated overall 4th in my class, I played basketball on the varsity team as well as danced as my major for all four years. I had amazing counselors, amazing teachers, and amazing friends. My high school years at Wadleigh were truly a blessing. I now attend the prestigious university known as Binghamton University. All I have to say is search the university up. I made it. Thank you Wadleigh. I recommend this school to all.
