Congrats to Wahlert Showchoir program for putting on a very well organized showchoir competition!! From my view point from ticket sales, to the cafeteria to food, signage of where things were…This was great! Very friendly parents and helpers. LOVED that they had a professional MC. Mr. LD was Great!! He was a show in himself, impressive bio.and He did great at entertaining and engaging the audience! My only complaint, the gym was Freezing, everyone needed their jackets or blankets, and those without shivered. So turn up the air a bit throughout the day as more people arrive. It’s not a full crowd until finals! Hopefully Hastings can come back next year! Great time!!
Really depends on what you’re looking for in a school. If smaller class sizes fit you better, then this would be the school for you. I find that because the class sizes are smaller, it allows teachers to focus more on how they can help improve your education. If you are not in financially good shape, do not come here at the expense of having to give up certain comforts in your life. I see people who are financially struggling who have their children come here and it makes no sense whatsoever. The public school system here in Dubuque is good enough that you don’t have to bankrupt yourself just to give your child a good education.
A place where you go to get tedious religion homework and have to deal with rich Catholic kids who like to bully people who are in the middle class. Whalert is not a safe place.
