Great school, great friends, great fees etc.

My son Daniel was just a year11 student, though if Daniel was late to class because he is lost or having a conversation with his school assistants, he has a feeling that his secondary teachers/coordinators/office staff were so kind and precisely helpful when dealing with the problems he faced.

Also, Daniel was very impressed with school
subjects that he was allocated in.
Due to the problems about the subject selection, Daniel wasn’t allowed to be in a paralleled curriculum. For example, visual arts and engineering runs and ends at a same period.

Later after dealing with changing subjects, Daniel received an email from (private name) head of secondary. I am thankful for the school coordinator and the head of secondary who placed my son to the right elective (from geo to Design + tech) and (from Visual arts to engineering studies). This means that my son found just about any preferred curriculum studies fair which sounded fun, helpful and educational.

At the end, everything sorted well and Daniel founded easier to plan ahead.

Thank you so much W.A.S. =)

As a concerned parent, I feel compelled to share my disappointing experience with Wahroonga Adventist. Unfortunately, my time at this institution has been nothing short of disheartening, and I cannot recommend it to other families seeking quality education for their children. Here are the reasons behind my negative review:

Lackluster Academic Standards: The academic standards at Wahroonga Adventist are shockingly low. The curriculum fails to challenge students and provide them with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in higher education or the professional world. It seems that mediocrity is the norm, and there is a distinct lack of enthusiasm from both the teaching staff and the administration.

Inadequate Resources: The school’s resources are severely lacking. Outdated textbooks, limited access to technology, and a scarcity of extracurricular activities create a stifling learning environment. The absence of essential resources hampers students’ ability to explore their interests and develop crucial skills beyond the bare minimum.

Negligent Staff: The teachers and staff at Wahroonga Adventist have demonstrated a concerning lack of passion and dedication towards their students. Their disinterested attitudes are reflected in their teaching methods, which often lack creativity and fail to engage the students effectively. Additionally, there is a lack of communication between teachers and parents, making it difficult to address concerns or gain insight into a child’s progress.

Bullying and Discipline Issues: Wahroonga Adventist fails to effectively address bullying and discipline issues plaguing the student body. Instances of bullying and harassment are often dismissed or overlooked, leaving the victims feeling neglected and unsafe. The administration’s lack of proactive measures to create a safe and inclusive environment is deeply concerning.

Limited Extracurricular Opportunities: The school’s extracurricular offerings are disappointingly limited. There is a lack of diverse clubs, sports teams, and artistic outlets for students to explore their passions and talents. As a result, students are deprived of opportunities for personal growth, character development, and building a well-rounded skill set.

In conclusion, I regretfully express my dissatisfaction with Wahroonga Adventist. The lackluster academic standards, inadequate resources, negligent staff, discipline issues, and limited extracurricular opportunities make this institution an unsatisfactory choice for any student’s educational journey. I strongly advise parents and students to explore other options that prioritize excellence, a nurturing environment, and a commitment to holistic education.

Casandra Foogle (dietician) provided me with a guided walk through the hospital to the clinic. Thank you
Stairs are not built well. When it’s wet, the stairs become a major hazard, students slipping and injuring themselves. The school has tried to fix the problem with securing the grips on the edges of the stairs, but have proven ineffective. Very unhappy that my child came with bruises on their legs
Wahroonga has a wide expanding community. Most teachers are willing to help students with their needs. A bit of a let down on sport focus but great education system with amazing principles.
