Graduated from here in 2016, most of the staff were friendly and curtious. I was part of the High school band all 4 years and played trumpet (band was small, but played just as loud as a band of 100+ members). I did student assistance during my senior year and got to help the attendance office and main office out. As far as the bullying here….not everything got handled properly in my opinion; there was forms of favoritism I noticed, there were kids that got pick at numerous times that ended up not always getting dealt with, and some constant drama that was totally unnecessary for school grounds. A few of the math teachers that were there during my time there were better as friends than as teachers (Just my opinion). As far as the English teachers I had, they were all good teachers and I had no problems with them. Social Studies teachers were cool and down to earth (one of them was a total character, he was always funny and loved his job, was very enthusiastic). And for the other teachers I had, they were cool with me and didn’t have any major issues with any of them (one of my science teachers was just plain awesome and she is a science teacher that I totally recommend, she makes learning the subject fun and worth it). Anyways got to graduate on time with over the amount of credits I needed and the graduation ceremony was very nice and meaningful.
I would have rather gone to a nice suburban school, but Waite had pretty good school spirit, and I love it.
