We’re really pleased to have chosen WaSPS for our Prep child this year. The educational experience has a strong emphasis on well-rounded development, something that was very important to our family. The Prep teaching staff are dedicated, nurturing and and skilled at creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. And we especially love how well the children look after each other across all year levels – it’s a real community here.

Absolutely love Wantirna South Primary. They had a reputation for being a great primary school before we first arrived as had friends who had gone there and our experience with every teacher we have been involved with has been brilliant. The principal Mrs Emonson is a fantastic leader for the school and really supportive of their staff and very engaging with the student cohort. Great leaders make a huge difference to the culture and they have this spot on. Highly recommend this school.

Wantirna South Primary School is a fantastic school for children to learn and grow. All the staff are dedicated and caring and have the children’s needs and interests at the forefront of their minds. The staff go above and beyond to make sure the children have a great experience during their primary school years. I highly recommend this school to anyone with primary school children.

I attended this school in 2008 and graduated in 2014. As I have gotten older I have realised it is rare these days that a teacher can make a true positive impact on your life to the point where you think about them years later. Mrs Emonson truely changed my life and is an angel sent from above. She has no idea the impact that she has made on my, my brothers and I’m sure so many other children’s ups . Growing up for myself was tough, I was exposed to so many hardships and grew up in and out of foster care homes due to my mother being drug addicted and abusive. Coming to school and knowing that one person truely believed in me and my abilities and genuinely cared about me truely changed my life. I was in dirty clothes: Mrs Emonson brang her daughters hand me downs the next day. I had no lunch: Mrs Emonson made sure I was fed at the canteen. I had no one to pick me up from school: Mrs Emonson waited for hours with me until someone came. These are the little things I will never forget about this school and the teachers. Please know if you are considering sending your child here that they are truely looked after as if they’re the schools own.
