Washburn Academy is an exceptional private school. My sons have been attending since they were very young – around three years old – and it has been a very good experience. They have had very loving and caring teachers who ensure they are winning in their education and fully understanding the terminology used and the purposes of what they’re studying. This is exceptional as it creates the result of an individual who can utilize their education in their lives and goals. My older son is ahead of his grade and that’s another thing – as soon as they achieve all of the requirements and show proficiency for that grade they are graduated into the next grade instead of having to wait to the next school year of time. Another words, it’s done by achievement of one’s ability rather than controlled by the time of a school year. This is phenomenal as well. In addition to all the incredible academics they do they also have a master of an art teacher, music, individualized tutoring, field trips, both educational and fun. They also learn skills such as building fences and auto mechanics. I absolutely love this school and the director is one of the most intelligent and caring people I know. Highly recommend.

My daughter loves this school and so do I. My daughter has had some trouble with reading and other schools wanted me to hire an outside tutor, but the Washburn staff are so diligent and attentive and wonderful, she’s been making terrific progress since she started there. I just can’t imagine sending my daughter anywhere else.

There’s also an amazing sense of community at Washburn. You really feel like part of the family. It makes you want to be involved and participate in your child’s education and overall schooling experience.

I highly recommend Washburn Academy for students of all calibers.

Washburn is truly amazing!
I have been going to Washburn Academy for about 3 years now. When I was in the public school system I would constantly be “sick” and had a ton of absents. Going to Washburn now, I feel included, and it’s like a second family to me. The staff and students are amazing and so responsible. The students volunteer very frequently and are truly incredible. And the teachers have the students work at their own pace and make sure they can use and apply what they learn. I love this school and 100% recommend it! ??
