My son had a great experience at Wayland Montessori School. We were big fan of Montessori teaching and Wayland Montessori didn’t disappoint us with its authentic montessori education. The lead teacher was very experienced and knows how to motivate kids to learn and explore, and cultivate the kids’ interests in a wide variety of subjects such as nature, practical life and of course reading and math. All the other teachers were also treating the children with great care and respect. My son especially enjoyed the Thursday karate lessons and the visits to the near-by bank, post-office, and fire station. Finally, being in a mixed-age environment also allowed my son to learn from older kids and to learn to be leader in his final year at Wayland Montessori.
We’ve had a wonderful experience at the Wayland Montessori school. We just finished our 6th year at the school, after both of our boys each attended the school for 3 years. They grew and learned so much during their time there. The owners also teach in the classroom, and they are amazing. They guide the children with patience and love, and always keep learning interesting for them. The Montessori materials are high quality and the classrooms are clean and well organized. Both of our boys left well prepared for elementary school, and they look back on their time at preschool fondly.
