Our 2 year old son attended summer school sessions (full week/half days) at Welcome Amigos and loved it! It was his first experience in a preschool setting and we couldn’t have asked for a more positive one! The teachers were wonderful and caring, the repurposed home was clean and full of tons of things for the children to learn and experience. The director, Elizabeth, was amazing – you can tell how much she loves her work and the children and takes it very seriously. The teachers were all very patient and kind with my very energetic son – they even got him to sit in circle time!
Other things that were great:
* how organized the program was – having a theme each week and lots of little activities around it (including field trips, making food, and science experiments)
* the weekly reports, pictures, and videos
* that I was encouraged to drop in anytime and be as involved as I wanted to be
* they focus not just on academics, but teach children to be good citizens as well
* my son was starting to say phrases, and name things in Spanish after only a few weeks!

I highly recommend Welcome Amigos!
