Review

Attending Weld South was a game-changer for me, not just in terms of learning the craft but also in launching my career. The instructors were not only experts in their field but also fantastic mentors who guided me every step of the way. Their teaching style made even the most complex welding techniques seem straightforward, and the hands-on experience we got from day one was invaluable in building my skills and confidence.

Safety was a top priority at Weld South. They didn’t just teach us how to weld; they instilled in us a deep respect for safety protocols, ensuring that we could approach any job with the right mindset.

But what really blew me away was how Weld South went above and beyond to help me kickstart my career. They had connections with local businesses and industries, and they actively helped students secure job placements after graduation. Thanks to their assistance, I landed a job right out of school. It was an incredible feeling to transition seamlessly from student to professional, and I owe it all to the support and guidance I received at Weld South.

I can’t recommend Weld South highly enough. Whether you’re looking to learn welding from scratch or want to take your skills to the next level, they provide the perfect environment to succeed. Plus, their commitment to helping graduates find employment is a game-changer in today’s competitive job market.

My personal experience with weld south was excellent. I highly recommend coming to this school over any other school. The instructors go above and beyond when it comes to the students there, not only do they do an incredible job at teaching and demonstrating the required practices to become a professional welder, they go above and beyond as people to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable and have a fun 6 months while taking the welder course. My only regret with weld south is that I did not go sooner. Will Hoffman is one of the best welders to ever bless gods green earth and should have a plaque that reads “Certified G.O.A.T. Welder” as a matter of fact if they paid him enough I think he could weld the titanic back together. (they say it can’t be done but they haven’t met Will and Jeff Hoffman yet)
Saying this was a great experience for my son doesn’t do the review justice. — my son tried a local community college for a while and ended up quitting. After a while he said he wanted to try welding again. —- We happened to see Weld South signs and looked them up and talked to them. —-fast forward 6 months and my son has finished the program, received his 6g pipe certification and is now actively working as a welder. — you can’t beat the time spent actually welding and receiving instruction. He said after the first day of class “they already checked on me and gave me more instruction than my year and a half at —–” .
