teachers will get so pressed for not wearing the blazer and if not worn they will grab you and not let go of you until u leave with the blazer on, instead of caring about our appearances maybe focus on the education their actually getting. In the assembly’s they’re always talking about how we should have respect for everyone yet they put their anger on the students for specific things, We are not one whole family we are in a community full of two faces.
I honestly have mixed feelings about this school so I’ll label the good and bad

Mixed Feelings:
– first off the teachers can be either good or bad you’ll never know

Bad:
– we’re forced to use blazers EVEN WHEN we leave its grounds, so much emphasis on our representation
– Bad student management and detentions
– Portables take up like 35% of all rooms and the best buildings are the ones they show off the most (the front of the school)
– The toilets are locked during classes. Sure, you can enter it with a keycard when you ask from your sub-school office, but they will INSULT you for not going during the breaks. This is not how you mold children into good, functioning adults.

Good:
– Canteen food is very delicious, it may be kind of expensive but inflation has been crazy so i wouldn’t complain and everything is <$10 as of 2024 - they have plenty of extra-curiculars so you can learn a lot of life skills outside of the class - Education and opportunities after school is decent from what I heard so yeah this is my review, hope this helps!

So, you now need to have an access card to use the bathrooms, which you can get from the conveniently positioned office ACROSS THE SCHOOL.
This place is trash at handling bullying, if there’s any physical fights they only suspend the ones inflicting the violence instead of solving the root of the issue.
They treat not wearing a blazer outside of school grounds like its some sort of federal crime, and the principal stands in front of the gates after school yelling at kids who are walking home to put on their blazers in 30 degree heat. Your not allowed to wear anything other than leather lace up shoes and if you ask why the only reason they give is that it’s not part of the uniform instead of anything concrete.
ALSO WHAT DID PINTREST DO TO YOU WHY IS IT BLOCKED!!?!?
This school is genuinely terrible, bullying happens all the time, the teachers piss their pants more if someone has slightly dyed hair or a piercing rather than if someone is bullying someone. They say ‘it’s a distraction’ yet bullying isn’t ? They focus on the wrong things. They don’t take into consideration that people’s mental healths are heavily affected by how poorly they treat students. I’d say that the teachers themselves, most of them, are really good, they do care about your well-being, however the heads of the school, like the people in the senior school office are terrible, they cry and whine about tiny things about your appearance rather than caring about the students wellbeing. Awful school, set your mind on the things that matter, like education and anti bullying.
i’m going to be honest here, this school isn’t too bad itself but its just the stuff they are restricting from the students. What do you mean kids have to swipe a card to go to the toilets now? that isn’t too bad but before students have to call a staff member to unlock it with a key, there are so many problems with this like what if someone is on their period. The toilets are there for a reason, why lock them? another thing is locking every gate besides the front gate, you’re causing more trouble for parents with cars trying to rush to the front gate just to pick up their kid, theres honestly a lot more traffic now because of it. Please just try to think of parents and kids before doing all this.
