Feel terrible that I made my kids attend these schools for as long as I did. It wasn’t until I worked there as a supervisory aide that I saw the horrible abuse, the bullying- BY STAFF. These are the worst group of adults I’ve ever encountered. When I spoke out, they tried to “set me up”, but luckily the cameras proved them wrong…..then I was transferred. Anyone who speaks on behalf of the kids who are being mistreated, they silence. Let’s not mention the teachers who sleep with students & then instead of getting fired, are “asked to leave at the end of the year”. How nice- gave him a few more months to sleep with more students. They still never pressed charges……it was found later, that he was also molesting a young niece! Had the school district alerted the police, this little girl may have had her nightmare end sooner. I had 3 other aides fired for physically bruising children & ALL were asked to quit……rather than press charges or fire them! So they all went on to continue working with children. I’m appalled & embarrassed that I ever had anything to do with this district. Get your kids out now.
I’m giving it a one star for supervisor Andy Hensley he is a liar a hypocrite not a very good person he is head of maintenance..

I was janitorial maintenance worker for Jackson elementary the town of Jackson.

That school is a lovely little school awesome teachers very professional staff.

But Jackson elementary needs help there’s spiders everywhere there’s ants everywhere and there’s mice that run around at night.

Staff knows it.

But nothing done about it ants we’re even in the kids lunch pails even with the kids sit on the floors in the classroom ants be crawling on the kids …

The carpet in the classrooms are very old and disgusting they’ve been there since 1960 I was told..

I’ve tried to report my concerns to my supervisor Andy Hensley he does not care he’s there for the paycheck only..

Honestly, this school district is a completely disgrace to the public education system, and America as a whole. Teachers here are mostly incompetent, with very few actually being good. This isn’t exactly the teachers themselves fault, but the fault of the district for focusing more on good test scores then actually learning anything worth any time. One of the major issues with this district, and many other districts, is the lack of student representation. We have to come here everyday, same as you. Teachers and students should have their say instead of the School board acting like an authoritarian dictatorship lead by the super intendant
