This school is a horrible place for any child who has special needs. Instead of treating my child with patience and respect they treat him like a prison inmate. He is in kindergaten and he has adhd, a neurological condition that HE CANNOT CONTROL. His teacher would send him everyday to the principals office PREEMPTIVELY so that he wouldn’t be rough with the other kids. He was forced to keep his head down on a desk and when he picked his head up he was told my the secretary to put his head back down. WHY? He didn’t do anything wrong!! Besides that, my husband and his father fought in IRAQ so that my son could have freedom, and they want to take that away from him? To top it all off the other day my son who is 5 years old kissed on of the boys in his class on the cheek. At 5 years old they do not have any ill thoughts. Well the boy told the teacher and the teacher told me himself that he had the class raise their hand if they saw him kiss that little boy. The teacher told me this so that my son “wouldn’t be able to lie”. What kind of person goes out of their way to humiliate a child? I am absolutely disgusted with this school.
My children went here. At that time staff was good. My children are adults now. But field day was the best.
