I currently go to Westminster (also currently procrastinating by writing this) and although few of the people aren’t the best, you get that everywhere. Westminster has one of the best teachers I’ve ever had (Mrs. Garrido) and it has been one of the best educational opportunities I’ve had. Most of these scores are people from other schools and bitter adults, but there are a few students who’ve had the opportunity to grow not only academically and physically, but also spiritually in their relationship with God. Westminster is one of the cheaper private schools and has far better educational standards than any other public school in MIami- Dade County. (On a side note, do not move here. because most people grew up here and don’t have a reference point outside of miami, they cant see how bad it is, but MIami- dade is the 11th worst county in the US> 1 in 4 people go hungry every day. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!)
I went to WCHS for my freshman and sophomore year. I am now a well traveled and well seasoned adult. There were traumatic experiences I had there, that I remember very vividly. My parents paid a lot for my education. I left to go to public school where I was much happier. My Christian values were developed in Church, and helped me to make sense of the hopelessness and helplessness I felt in a so-called Christian high school environment. It was only after I left WCHS that I learned respect and tolerance for other races, religions and other people’s beliefs. I also did better in school. I was successful in college and am now a director in a hospital.
I am glad my parents listened to me and allowed me to go to public school. Parents, listen to your children!
I never went here but this is where i do basketball
