My child has been a student for a number of years now. I must say at the outset that I am sincerely impressed by the principles at the heart of this school’s teachings. I am proud that this school is founded on biblical truth, truth that will prepare the students for any career.

I find it interesting that there is negativity associated with a child doing homework and the parents involvement. How times have changed. Excellence requires work at school, at home, and on the field. If a child knows that a parent is involved, cares about how they perform, and is there to oversee, then the child will succeed. Parents get involved- it’s your child! Frankly, I think the workload is fine.

I am also thankful for the recent changes in administration, not that it was needed but new ideas are being implemented for the better. I would like to see further strengthening of the curriculum, and I understand that is happening.

This city, county, state, and country of ours needs more schools like Westwood Christian.

There are many school choices in this area, but Westwood Christan is by far the best school I’ve visited or been a part of. It is unique not only in its biblical approach to education, but in its beautiful campus and dedicated staff. Families are encouraged to attend religious services but never pushed to do so. Many families are Christian, yet I myself was raised catholic and my experience here has been wonderful. Westwood provides a rigorous curriculum combined with moral teachings in an environment that encourages excellence. When you visit Westwood, expect to be greeted warmly, doors will always be opened for you, and kindness is extended around every corner. Best of all, it’s not hypocritical or pretentious. The families at Westwood are genuinely kind and helpful (which is rare in Miami, FL) and why this school deserves more than a 5-star rating. I’d give 10 stars if I could!
This is our second year at Westwood Christian School, we are so bless and thankful to God to guide us to find this great school and family. Wonderful staff, people that really love our kids and always help them to improve in everything. This is a family!! you get to know all the moms and dads always helping each other in every event.. If you are looking for a school come a visit Westwood Christian School!!!
