I could not be happier with this institution! My child has learned not only from wonderful teachers in the classroom, but also life skills like swimming! Yes they have their own on-site indoor pool and all children have access not only to organized swim lessons but also regular free swim time. Mine is going into Kinder and is already being prepped for reading (and writing) more complex words. The campus is wonderful and the community is supportive and great. The staff has always been top notch with me. My child has made friends and we’ve been to lots of classmate birthday parties. The drop-off/pickup procedure runs like clockwork. I do not feel we would be getting an education of this quality at just any public ISD and am immensely grateful for the nurturing and development my child has received.
Our child attended WRNS for the 2014-2015 year and we were disappointed. We have not reenrolled. The teachers are very pleasant but they are often over shadowed by the domineering administration. All the negative reviews I have read mention how unprofessional the administration is and I totally agree. The owners and administration set the tone for a school and unfortunately a negative tone is set towards the love of learning, creativity and simply just being a kid here. I have toured most if not all the private schools in our area and North Dallas and I have never seen such a negative environment quite like WRNS for education. For all the great daycares, preschools and schools out there, this is not a place that I would recommend.
The private swim lessons were amazing, my 6 year old daughter went from being comfortable wading neck deep and picking things up off the bottom to swimming back and forth across the pools width in 3 days, then the length after 6. Amy is amazing! The consolidated 15 minute 2 week schedule was perfect for my daughters endurance and memory building.
I know Amy’s program was only a fraction of what my local park district would have cost. This was the best time and money I spent all summer.
