This is the first year for my son to go to Whitesburg Middle and the bullying is TERRIBLE… I have already had to make a police report because the administration wouldn’t handle the bully when told about them. My son ended up getting punched 3 times.. I’ve had enough, and if I could take him out I would in a heart beat. He comes home daily telling me about fights that have happened during that day, as well as kids stealing stuff in his gym class. He said he is scared to leave anything of his unattended because someone might get it. There is also a teacher that refuses to respect the students, and has made it where my son HATES going to school, for the simple fact he has to deal with them.
They sent my daughter to go to Morris which is a bad school my daughter gets good grade A’s and B’s but she can’t learn good at Morris really good if kids running down the hall cursing kids in the classroom cursing at the teacher always trying to fight how is that a good school it’s a ghetto school not a good school. Also people keep running through the halls and she almost got pushed over i can’t believed whitesburg was her favorite school but not anymore.
This place has a lot of room for improvement. It is my daughter’s first year there. Some teachers are good, some not so much, same with the student body. Discipline or rather lack there of is an issue but I think that falls more on the guidelines the administration has to follow from the board. Wouldn’t recommend this place even though it does have many positive attributes because there are huge negative attributes as well.
