Best public school I have sent my children to in 5 years. As long as the parents remain involved in the acedemics and not treat the institution meant to educate the children for 6 hours like a daycare or surrogate parent, I see no situation not resolvable. The administrative staff is very involved in the progress and success of it’s students. I know this from experience. It’s fruatrating because with some students it takes a lot of time and input to get the right individualized structure for a student, especially with working parents who really “don’t have time” to go back and forth to the school. I am a parent who makes time. I meet with staff as frequently as time allows, if not able phone conferences. They are flexible to my schedule but first and foremost prioritizes my child’s needs for continued success. So for the last 3 years…thank you to Mrs. Finley and all of her staff at Wilber Wright! I can not express my gratitude enough!” It takes a village” and this community has and continues to put so much of them into many students. The success of my children is credited to all that you all have done and our collboration to assist in their academic achievements ! ??

As a new resident to the city of Cleveland in September 2014, I was Leary of public schools. We came from Avon Lake due to financial reasons. The principal of this school, Miss Finley made us feel right at home and you could easily see how dedicated she was to her students and her school!!! Three school years later and 4 out of my 5 children attending she is still just as wonderful and her teachers and staff follow her suit!!! This school has changed my views on public schools and I’m blessed to have been so fortunate that this school is the one that my children are being raised in!!??????
