I have both my daughters going to this school one of them needs special learning. My wife and I have told this school about it and they don’t do anything they dont seem to care for students like my daughter and it’s so sad. So we decided we were going to transfer them to a old elementary school where we use to have them before moving, and all of a sudden they show interest in my daughter’s disability or they are trying to cover it up with forms they gave us to show that they care known as individual special care needs form. We have been taling them for a entire year about the issue and nothing till the last minute when we are moving them out of this horrible school and they found out cause we told them we were moving them. We even told the school district about this issue and guess what they said. ” Talk to the principal” which we did multiple times and just kept giving us the go around. If I could give Garrison no stars I would. Horrible place. O and I almost forgot they make parents do most of the teaching for your kids at home. This is a perfect example of educational system failing.

I fight my daughter for hours straight trying to rid of lice my big kids get from their school which their schools never send home for lice, she has asd and will literally scream bloody murder if you touch her hair. Yet, i do it, i fight, i stress, i am a mess and they consistently send my daughter home no matter what i do. Why? It’s not considered a medical issue and this is the only school that punishes autistic kids for something thats nearly impossible to do. Yet when i replace my carpet, bomb my house. I get rid of the lice and my big kids bring it back from other kids. I thought a special needs program would understand but NO they do not. I love this school but why punish all of us for something my daughter nor I can truly help. You try having your kid scream as if you’re beating them JUST by touching her hair let alone putting medicine or a comb through it for an hour. We are miserable because the school forces something that isn’t enforced in most schools.

My son is autistic and his teacher and staff at this school have been so helpful i love this school…
