This school is small so it seems nice considering CCSD schools are almost all overcrowded. You NEVER see the principal. Just give that position to the assistant already. She does everything. If you are new to this school and don’t fit in with your teachers little group, good luck. Everything is rigged from voting on school representatives to GATE testing. GATE testing is hand graded by a specific teacher( CCSD main office told me this) If you fit in your kid gets in. What’s funny is a lot of these kids go next door to Becker and have a ton of trouble. Awwww, no one is rigging anything for your kids? Invest in a private school or better yet there are so many charter schools in Clark County. Research CCSD and their state ranking. It’s like 48 out of 50 states! Teaching degrees are also different in the state of NV. The requirements are low. You probably have a higher degree than most CCSD employees.
I went there for a year and i was in 5th grade and it was great you get to experience so many thing there and they have so many great staff members and they inbrase you with open arms and never let you fail they always make you succed and i espicaly like mrs.crumm she is an amazing teacherand she is awesome and she has alot of fun stuff to do all the staff make learning fun and they put alot of work and time into every student i have went to alot of schhols but this one is the best it has so many fun activites and this school perpares you for life in the big wiorld and for middel school and they have cool traditonal thing this is the best school i recommend this school for everyone in the world and i wish i can go there still but it gose up to 5th grade
Yea this school is pretty terrible, I feel a background check on teacher aids isn’t enough. They have zero patients, they dont know how to redirect probably, the teachers you can tell dont get trained to keep up to date with new better practices. The principal and office staff have excusist. Had to switch my little out this school. Aye they stopped letting us in the cafeteria in the morning because we told them about there sloppy practices. They yank, pull, like the state needs to retrain ever thing about this school. Kids dont ever look happy
