I have nothing but great things to say about Winhold Montessori in Palmetto Bay! When my son was just 1 year old, I was unsure of where to take him for his early education, but Winhold Montessori turned out to be the perfect place for him. Over the past year, he has made incredible progress and achieved milestones that amaze me. He is already speaking in full sentences, eating independently, and playing on his own, all thanks to the love, patience, and efforts of his dedicated teachers, Ms. Vicky, Ms. Yoandra, and Ms. Meny.

The administration of the school is also top-notch, especially Valeria at the front desk. She has been instrumental in keeping communication open and transparent, providing valuable information about school events, teachers, and the well-being of the kids. Her knowledge and commitment to the parents and students make her an invaluable asset to the school.

Moreover, I can’t thank Belkis, the school Director, enough for her leadership and involvement in the day-to-day activities of the school. She ensures that all guidelines are followed, maintaining a safe and enriching environment for the children to thrive in.

The nurturing and supportive environment at Winhold Montessori have had a profound impact on my son’s growth and development. It is evident that the teachers and staff genuinely care about each child’s well-being and educational journey. I feel confident and grateful for choosing Winhold Montessori as my son’s early learning center.

In conclusion, I highly recommend Winhold Montessori to any parent looking for a nurturing and stimulating educational environment for their child. The dedicated teachers, caring staff, and effective administration create a positive and enriching atmosphere where children can blossom and reach their full potential. My experience with Winhold Montessori has been nothing short of exceptional, and I am excited to see my son’s continued progress and growth at this wonderful school.

I went for a tour with my almost 12 month old child to see if it was the right fit for us. There were at least 3 red flags for us to never go back. First, if you are a breastfeeding mom, they want you to wean them off immediately. They don’t want the kids behaving a certain way if they are breastfed (pulling shirt) and they will not give them breast milk if I were to send it with him. Secondly, the kids get in trouble for greeting. We were only allowed to take a pick through the door, but they were not allowed to see us. There was a class that noticed us and the lady providing the tour immediately told them no. The third red flag is how they exclude kids that cannot walk yet. We saw the smallest class from a distance since that would be the age group my child would be in. However, I was very sadden to see all the kids playing and the girl that wasn’t walking was left on the side away from the group. Since visiting them, we have been to other learning centers where it is not an issue if you are still breastfeeding your child, kids are allowed to wave hello, and babies who are not walking yet do not get excluded.
We enrolled our two-year old daughter a year ago in the toddler program at Winhold Montessori. Since that time, we have seen a positive change in our child both academically and emotionally. Mrs. Sandino and the entire school staff are caring, supportive and knowledgable in the montessori method. Mrs. Sandino is always maintaining us informed and eager to assist our child, especially during transitional periods. Our daughter surprises us everyday with new information that she has learned in class and as parents this lets us know that we have made the right decision when it comes to her education. Everyday, she is happy and eager to attend school and this makes us feel extremely comfortable. I can not recommend this school enough if you are looking for a caring and loving environment to place your children.
