Here the staff is trained to act differently base on your enrollment status. I have called them (one week before the end of the month) to inform that my daughter shall not continue with the classes as she is falling sick too often and have been missing the lessons. Also expressed the interest of resuming the swim lessons for summer time. They agreed to cancel the enrollment and immediately changed the tone in rude manner. They said the cancellation will take effect only from 10th of the following month because they need 15 days notice.

When I questioned them on fairness in forcing me to pay for additional 2 weeks that too into the new month, they started talking weird. They need a doctor note stating the child is sick. How sensible is this? I don’t run to a doctor if my child experience a general sickness such as cold/cough or low fevers. Why would doctor provide me a sick note without seeing the patient? This is nothing but a tactic by the swim school to somehow squeeze the money out of your pocket. I am not asking to compensate for missed classes but cancelling the enrollment for the winter time.
After all the conversation, the staff said the manager would call me the next day to discuss. That’s a nice escape! … next day manager wouldn’t call. When I called them back, another staff picks the call and escapes in the similar fashion.
This is not a fair play. Wise Swim School SUCKS!! …..There are plenty of options out there!

Referred here by a friend. My son went from not putting his head in the water to swimming underwater in 2-3 lessons and loving it. Both my kids have learned to swim here. Four years later, my son now swims year round with their Spirit USA swim team as well as his school’s swim team. This year he took 2 firsts and a second at state. His love for the sport of competitive swimming is undoubtably due to the wonderful instructors he had along the way from this school and Coach Chuck Webb. My four year old can’t wait to join Spirit now too. Family Swim is our home away from home.

Update: This review is from when this was Family Swim School NOT Wise Swim School. I cannot say if the quality is the same with the new owners as we’ve not been there since my kids are competitive swimmers now and aren’t taking how to swim lessons anymore.

We found the Swim school after my oldest had two very bad experiences at Community Ed lessons and developed an intense fear of going under the water. The instructors are patient and kind but also know when to give the kids a push along. My child is now swimming under water on her own and loving it. Her fear of the water is gone! It has been worth every penny spent to ensure she has this life-saving skill. I have also spent time in the water with my youngest and enjoy the warm pool! The owners are very knowledgeable/receptive to feedback.
