The senior members of the sixth form care not for the students and only care the grades. They only care for the schools reputation, applying so much pressure in year 12 alone. Even in year 13 they have amazingly been able to make it worse, with them applying even more pressure on us.
My strong advice is to not allow your children to go here!
Brilliant school, with diversity , promotes equality, discipline and most importantly good grades! My form teacher at the time drTozcek really helped me achieve good grades and i am a pharmacist today!! Highly recommend x
This school is the worst. My dad has sead he regrets sending me hear as I have been excluded for the Mose petty reason ever. They don’t help out the students as I would know as I go to this school and I struggle and I get no help at all (work, anger). I wouldn’t send you child/children hear unless you are perfect. They say they treat everyone the same but they rally don’t. Please don’t sead your child hear I know I will never put my child through this school.
The school has different aspects for different people. Personally I feel that the pastoral team is amazing, and the staff always promote you to be ambiguous. A lot of the teachers have made my time at woodkirk as enjoyable as possible, and the maths, english and science students run into their own time to ensure they can help year 11s undertaking GCSE exams in the most effective way possible.
In my time at woodkirk, I have received help with my anxiety and constant support from the staff and pastoral team through a really tough time.
Woodkirk Academy is very strict, hence the reason a lot of people refuse to appreciate it. However if your child can stick to the rules and is determined to learn, this is an amazing place which helped me flourish entirely.
This school is so tiet miss messenger let’s half of our year in and not us lot favouritism at its finest get warnings for no reason gets detention for the stupidest reasons ever its like the teacher likes giving us punishments highly wouldn’t recommend your child to go here
