I was very excited for my son to join this “outstanding” rated school, expecting that he would be engaged and encouraged to be his best self.
I was set up for complete disappointment. My son joined FS2 at the new campus. The campus is beyond beautiful, but we were very disappointed with the teachers and administrative staff. The teacher keeps telling the kids how much the furniture cost so that they don’t ruin it. They are kids – they don’t care or know what 200 DHS is! Outrageous!
Administration, finance, and management are a whole other level of chaos. A complete mess. Nobody answers the phone. Getting anything done is a hectic process. We have to make many calls daily and visit their offices multiple times to ensure they communicate with each other. Such a waste of time. Having our son join Al Yasmina made our lives unnecessarily stressful because of their lack of organization and management.
AL DAR EDUCATION MUST FIX THIS!
We pay a lot for our child to study at this school, expecting that he will be encouraged to reach his full potential, but honestly, he learned more in nursery than at Al Yasmina.
The PRE department doesn’t care about anything unless it’s escalated through the Al Dar survey.
The tools are unnecessary if they are not used properly.
Moreover, on more than one occasion, the nursery felt so commercial, especially with the “no hat, no play” rule. You have to buy their hat for the child to play outdoors.
Unfortunately, the school has good teachers.
